Woody’s was launched in Nov 1995. Not only was it one of the first brands to market – demonstrating our initiative – but was also kept in a position of strength, continuing to hold market share despite a massive influx of competitors. Unfortunately Woody's was withdrawn from the UK market in 2004.

Woody’s was the number 2 brand, behind Hooch, at its peak in 1997 and has sold 51.7m bottles to date

Flavours in the range included: Pink Grapefruit, Strawberry Lemon, Mexican Lime

Woody’s Ice flavours: Cranberry, Blueberry, Orange , Lemon Ice (275ml at 5.5% with Vladivar Vodka)

Survived 1997 backlash against RTDs, with several changes to meet Portman Group Guidelines

Range and product updated to meet consumer and market needs throughout 8-year life cycle – for example, the ABV varied throughout this time from 4.7% to 5.3% in the 330ml bottle and then back to 4%, when the bottle changed to 275ml

Woody’s refresher was withdrawn from the GB market in 2004

Woody’s cocktail range extension developed into Joe’s Club Cocktails, a successful GB multiple grocery brand at 14.7% ABV
